- The only time I didnt use cc/mods was when I played the game for the first time to test the waters, and when trying to pinpoint which culprits that causes my game to crash. I have this awesome mods where it gives player tan, sunburn or cancer for being exposed to sunlight too long long before island living announced, and gives player burn mark when caught in fire, semi-permanent. gives enough realism for mostly an occult player. also made my own mods to unlock tuck in interaction for adult and increase movement speed of vampiric run.
- I have only one mod which I use. I don't think it's allowed to talk about this particular mod here, but it makes it easier to make money, I'll leave it at that. ;)
- I use tons of mods and CC. For bugfixes, to enhance gameplay, to have more freedom, or more stuff to do. ;) I only started with a little but it got out of hand pretty fast ... I'm trying to clean my mods folder every few weeks now tho. :D
- annaliese396 years agoSeasoned AceI don't play with mods except for the very rare occasion when I want some nice poses for photos. I always remove them after though.
- netney526 years agoSeasoned AceI've never used mods or cc. I had never heard of them until I read about them on here
- moltazia6 years agoRising Adventurerim super picky with my cc, how its constructed (triss count) and how well it fits in with the games aestetic. as soon as game packs i want comes out i go through my mods folder and clear out all similar looking cc to keep my game running smoothly. and just go through sometimes to rinse out stuff i dont use in my game anymore. but its fun!
- MCCC, additional club members (easier to organize family gatherings), and currently using the mod to make Selvadorada a residential world and not a destination world, but that one keeps bugging out on me so I'll be getting rid of it when I get Island Living.
- I love customizing and adding to my game :) The ability to do this is one of the things I love most about modern PC gaming. I can take a game I already like and make it even more "for me". I'm really grateful to all the talented and creative people who make the mods and CC that I use, and I'm really happy that Maxis gives them the ability to show their talent and creativity. Making custom add-ons is one of the many ways to "play" a game these days.
- Hermitgirl6 years agoSeasoned AceI either play with mods for certain saves or play fully vanilla for most other saves. It's easy enough to pull out the mod folder and clean out the rest when I want to go vanilla. I also like exploring new packs with no mods in my games. Besides everything always has to be updated anyway.
I do find my modded games get thrown out faster because updated or not I start having problems with game eventually when I run mods. - Stephanie1323926 years agoNew SpectatorI prefer playing ''vanilla'' (no mods) but I do like to use CC.
