- XxAirixX6 years agoSeasoned AceMost of it is CC so I can make my sims look more accurate to who they are based off, but been trying to cut down on CC and mods as there were way too much.
I had a mod that allowed tans and burns and a few others, but I took them out of the game. - Divinity_wingz6 years agoNew AceI have about 10 gb of cc right now. This will increase as I prepare for Island Living. :)
- Suziish6 years agoSeasoned AceI use mods everyday, as they are installed and effect gameplay every time the game is loaded and playing. Same with CC, I have it on (if not every sim) nearly every sim. In their houses.
I have over 200 mods (mods are modifications that effect gameplay) and over 10GB of CC (which is cas items, skins, skin details, default eye replacement, b/b items, etc).
So, everyday, with every game play. But I don't see it as a problem.
ETA: I just thought of my vanilla folder I have. So I'd say 98% of the time. I usually only play vanilla with Carl's challenges or when patches hit. - LatinaBunny6 years agoSeasoned AceI’m currently not using any, but after Island Living updates the game, then I may add some fairy content and mods, (depending if that content stuff got updated by then).
- notasmokealarm6 years agoRising VeteranI tried at first to only stick to mods for Sims 4. I had so much CC in 2 and 3 that it was insane.
Then I decided I would download ONE default skin set and ONE default eye set...yeah...that didn't last. My mod folder is now obnoxiously huge, and I regret nothing. - I only use one mod to keep the game from generating a million random sims per game session.
But hairs, skins, makeup and clothing - yes please! I really have a lot of them, but I am picky, only MM and everything that I don't like will be deleted asap. No CC furniture though. - MiladyRevenwyn6 years agoSeasoned VanguardI don't use much in the way of item mods (I have a few custom hair and jewelry, and one wedding dress, that's it) but I run MCCC, and a few mods to make living as a vampire easier, such as using vampire powers to become immune to sunlight for a certain amount of time, or eat human food and have it maintain thirst.
- linzstar6 years agoRising VeteranI only use mods at the moment. Any cc I used to have broke in some way and its just a pain for me cause they seem to break all the time so its not worth it. But there are some mods I cant play without though.
- i only have like 4 things of cc. i recently downloaded mccc and then deleted it two days later because the sheer amount of control it gave me over the game made me uncomfortable. i'm just not a mods person ?♀️
- I use mods for hair and clothes, but I don't have too many. I sometimes used lighting mods in Sims 3, and I also used Nraas. Overall though, in the 15 years I have been playing all sims games I have probably downloaded less than 100 mods.
