It is ok. I started the Sims probably around your age too. Plus you probably will outlive me and get to see more Sims games in your lifetime. I actually thought you were older because you have a lot of nice mature posts. I feel young myself for when I started playing SimCity.

@Scobre Sim City 2000, haha! my first 'sims' game too. I actually skipped school to play that.

16-29 is a huge age bracket...you literally just lumped me in with two of my three siblings, and I'm neither in highschool nor done with school yet.

@Admiral8Q Yes such good memories. Llama speed too was the best. I had so much fun with those disasters.

I'm rapidly approaching the last category in this poll, nice to see I'm not the only one! :) I started playing Sims with the original and have never looked back. It was a birthday present for my oldest daughter's 13th birthday. She doesn't play anymore, no one does except my DIL now and then, but that's fine by me.

I love this game, it's allowed my creative side to shine and I've learned so many things that I believe I never would've tried if it wasn't for this game. It was building that caught my interest from the beginning, but I've done it all; building, challenges, writing, photo editing, videos, just general gameplay and I even had my own forum during the golden years of TS2! I've made a lot of friends over the years because of this game too.

This game may be marketed toward pre-teens/teens, but in my mind, people of all ages can and do play because it has so many ways to play it. It's not just a digital dollhouse for little girls, but if that's the only way you play, go for it! The Sims is like some people I know, you can't put them in a box or give them a label, it's many things to all people of all ages and I love that!
