How old are you?

I'm in the 41-49 age category. I've been Simming since the beginning :)

Well more specifically, I'm 45, but my mental age is another story.

I'm in the range that you forgot.

I'm soon to be 51. I can't believe it, I feel like I was just in my 20's. Time flies when you get older.
I may be old but at least I'm a young Simmer, I started only 5 years ago and I've had so much fun with Sims 4. :)

I am young at heart like probably most SIMS players why else would we be playing with doll houses? More sophisticated but none the less not so different. I have played the SIMS since it first came out and enjoyed it most of the time.

Consider me part of the missing category. :)

The ages surprised me! I expected more players from 16-19

Also not a teenage girl. I was in middle school when the original came out...I've been playing ever since! (For the record, I wasn't a teenager when I was a teenager...just a very young old fart.)

I'm 33, I've been playing since I was 20, back when TS2 was still going.

Honestly, though, I think that overrelyance on the whole "age+gender=shorthand for who you are and what you want" concept is one of the biggest problems with modern media and marketing in general. They really should be using interest profiles similar to the ones used by streaming services like Netflix. That way, instead of chasing a magic age/gender combination to the detriment of content quality, they can actually use data collected from user scores of existing media, and send follow-up surveys people with the correct interest profile to ask what they like, dislike, and want to see. Then, based on the combined data, they can make higher quality, more appealing content instead of farting out desperate attempts to appeal to people based only on their age and gender...and all of the baggage, cultural assumptions, and stereotypes that tend to come with that tactic and ruin what could have been a really awesome show, film, or game as a result...

But, you know, that's just my little opinion...
