How playable is the game rn?
I still haven't updated or got the pack because I keep hearing of too many bugs, but I'm planning to now however I want to know is there really alot of bugs or its tolarable? I'm planning to start ...

NAP's are not tolerable in my opinion, so you want to use mods, I recommend Simvasion's and Zero's mods, especially Zero's no swiping mod because Sharing is Caring is an unbalanced disaster. You can also disable NPC voting.
The way they programmed NAP's scare me honestly because they seem to override everything, they spawn items in sims inventories endlessly and makes sims use them constantly unless you use mods, they might even ruin future packs unless Maxis does something about them.
While it's not a large issue I also find the insects farms and the candle making very boring, both take too long to do. Insects farms are apparently not even configured properly, your insects will die no matter what you do. I recommend checking out Carl's Sim Guides. He has made some great videos that showcases these issues.
