How playable is the game rn?

I don't think I have experienced so many bugs from one pack in all the years I have actually been playing sims games and while we have all no doubt come to accept right or wrong that many of us will almost always need to use some mods to make the game playable this pack really takes the biscuit. I feel sad because I actually liked to pack idea and was looking forward to playing but when my sims try bike from the toilet to the dining table every minute of every sim day (despite removing bikes from their inventories they get them back somehow) then the gardening is borked which is one of my personal favourites I gave up and went to play another sim at Uni until I realised he was constantly being romantically accosted in the uni bar plus many other issues too numerous to mention here and this is after I have turned everything off in game and have mods to supposedly combat these things so I am no sure anymore how it can actually be made playable without some serious re-working? looks like I will have to uninstall the pack altogether which is a shame.
I know a lot of players suffered with IP fortunately I was not one of them it's one of my very favourite worlds that I continue to play today. ill health lately stops me from being able to dedicate as many hours to the sims 2&3 games as I would like which is why I turned more of my attention to 4 thinking I might at least gain get more gameplay in for the available time I had to play even if it is shallow in comparison to other iterations so I am afraid my venting is also due to my disappointment at finding it's not quite that simple lol

Oh i loved IP. The few time that i was able to make it work it blew my mind. Living in a houseboat, diving in deep seas, resorts... i couldn't play it all though cause unplayable lag started to happen. People say mermaids were great...
