- NateWhiplash5 years agoSeasoned AceHonestly, better than it has in many months. The biggest difference I notice is that my Sims now respond to commands instantly--before, there was a big lag time, and sometimes they wouldn't follow my commands at all
- I’ve had no issues with both patches.

- I was worried my game would behave badly after the update so I'd been delaying updating, but it has run very well. No crashes and no other noticeable bugs. I do have the sketchpad fix and aging up fix though. I hadn't encountered the bug yet but as soon as I read my sim wouldn't be able to do her freelancer thing on the sketchpad anymore, I downloaded that.
- I never had the crashing issue but the hot fix is cause simulation lag, I have the aging up bug, sims are canceling cooking and walking away mid preparation, wonky AI sims are still using bathroom sinks instead of kitchen sinks, they are walking past a perfect kitchen table and chairs to sit on the porch on a less comfortable chair during a blizzard to eat, leaving dishes everywhere.
I’m annoyed! - The game has been stable enough so far but, I've been getting simulation lag like crazy and the sims response time rate varies. The aging is also messed up some of the buy objects tend to get removed upon loading a save file since the latest hotfix.
- Hot fix has fixed my crashing issues, but has created a new one for me.
Every time my sims cook, they start a fire, then after the fire they can cook without starting a fire. They are maxed cooking skills. Doesn't matter if the stove is cc or not. Doesn't matter where I place the stove. They consistently start a fire, then after it is put out and stove is replaced, they can cook. Anyone else? - Jayel-15 years agoSeasoned AceI nearly caved yesterday to update, but after re-reading these posts I managed hold off again when I reminded myself I don't need all the new base game extras, not if to have them is going to present problems.
My only thing about playing offline is that I can't poke around the gallery, but yesterday I chanced going online whilst playing, an found I could, I just had to make sure I went offline again. So for me, until there's some definite improvement, I'm not patching. - HopeyStarr5 years agoSeasoned AceBeen having relationship gain issues in that my sims are becoming fast friends with everyone they introduce themselves to. Not old friends, pre-patch and hotfix.
Before that my sims in popular clubs would gain relationships with everyone on the lot and infamous clubs would have negative relationship gain without introducing themselves first. That seemed to have fixed itself before the patch but it also wiped the club perk points in all my clubs so

I don't really know?
This game is a mess.
