9 days to Eco Lifestyle and im already preparing myself for it.
Is it possible to add dumpsters to neighborhood common areas like the festival grounds in san myshuno? Or others like the litlle park areas in other worlds?
You would probably need something like TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. (take objects off lot) mod for that: https://www.patreon.com/posts/t-o-o-l-11-15-31592360 if it's off lot. Otherwise, the dumpster is a gameplay object in Build/Buy so you can add it to a lot.
Thank you @luthienrising ! I'll take a look at this mod. For lots i think itll be easy but i want to make the streets really dirty in some neighbourhoods of some worlds and also the festival areas in san myshuno (i think those are off lot...?).

How do you place objects off lot with that cheat?
@telmarina I just set the object as head and them remove it when you got tot he location. It always made things big so I only used things to set up as decor for the bare area. Like the park area in Newcrest. If I can get this mod to work, I'll turn it into a community garden. Fill it up with harvestables.

I'm wondering whether the sims team will add things like dumpsters to community areas in the game. They're having to update communal areas to add things like the voting board thing, and they'll have to make some changes to the environment so we can see when neighbourhoods are getting polluted/clean etc, so I'm thinking hopefully they'll add things like dumpsters to those areas? Just a thought before you spend hours editing and making changes and then find out you dont need to :# (of course they might not, so you'll wish you'd edited it! :D Who knows!?)
@asimbsim thank your the advice. For now we already know that the voting board won't be in the other worlds besides Evergreen Harbor. I suppose dumpster won't be too. But let's wait for the best :)

P.S. - once you hit save, the object stays in the location you put it even if you shut down the game. :smile:
