How to change the clock time?
So, I'm from generation TS2 and actually prefer that when my sims leave their homes and families they come back and time has not passed for the other family members. I know in TS4 this is not possible...

I actually prefer the time the way it works in this one. Dunno just gives me a sense of progression. @3KNPen described the scenario better I think and they're right in saying that you do get used to it.
