With testing cheats enabled you should be able to either shift click or right click the wild plant and choose remove wild plant. Sorry I do not remember the exact function. ... Now that I think about it I am not 100% sure that this is not part of a mod I have or not. I should test before advising but no time to get into the game right now. Does not hurt to try.
