How to license songs?
My sim has composed her first song. I've received a notification saying that i can now license the song using the mail box. But the option isn't showing... should i do something before clicking in the mail box?

- You can license different songs for different insturments though and get around the weekly limit that way as it's just on a per instrument basis. And I also believe the music producing item from Get Famous also gets around that issue with the aspiration.

You have to be level 9 to license a song. Then you click on the mailbox and the option will appear. If you have more than one song, both titles will appear. Click the one you wish to license. Hope this helps. :)
Yes, you need to be level 9, but the game is already telling you at level 8 that you can license songs... this "mistake" happens as well in other ability level descriptions.
