How to make your sim stop working from home?

Have you travelled to a bar with you sim and tried it there ?

Yes, i've tried a bar, lounge, and nightclub.

You just have to talk to any sim on the lot about fashion. Always worked for me. It has nothing to do with the phone in the Style Influencer career, which is a bit confusing if you played the CL careers in the past.
