how to place outrigger canoe on docking point

No, the boat does not connect to the dock. I don't know the purpose of the dock ladder, maybe its for neighbors to visit and dock there? Maybe a restaurant so you can dock there? I doubt either one though!
It was too hard to get them to animate tying the boat to the dock is all I can figure :s
