How to remove the flash on selfies and photos?

You might be able to darken the washed-out photos by clicking on the photo and then “”filter”… (I think) then play around with those options. But it might not work because typically a washed-out photo won’t retain the detail needed for this kind of edit, it’s easier to go in the other direction.
