How to solve childhood phases without cheating?

So since the cheats for removing them seem to be a bit bugged. I was wondering how do you solve the phases naturally? I know a few of them but not all of them! Bear- Just have your parent sim dress...

This probably isn't helpful, but I usually just ignore phases since they don't seem to have a huge effect on the kid (except the bear one). Parents can talk to them about it too.
