How to upload existing (played) household to gallery?

I don't play TS4 too often, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I know you can upload any household you create in CAS. But if you merge or add to your family, there is no option I can see to upload the "new" household to the gallery.

I had a household with 3 Sims in it, created a new Sim and added him to the active household. Now, there are 4 of them, but there is no option to share the updated household.

In TS3, you can upload individual Sims or the household as many times as you want. Is that not a thing anymore, or is there a way to do this and I'm just blind/dumb?

Thanks.
  • Open the household in Manage Worlds > Manage Households > Edit Household. First look for the file folder symbol being pointed to in the upper right-hand corner. That will open up the center part of the screen you see here. That's where you save to the Library.
  • In the upper right corner, you click the file folder icon, then on the family screen, you click the upload to gallery.

I just tested. I uploaded this family to the gallery, uploaded fine, and then I added a person from my gallery, and uploaded them again.

That's really weird. I don't have that option on my household at all, since the "merged" family isn't in my library (that's where I want them, just there's no way to get them there, it would seem).

There must be a way to get the updated family into my library so I can share it, but there's no obvious way to do that. How are you getting to the screen that the screenshot is on?

Apologies if this is a "newb" question, but I've played TS4 maybe twice in the 4 years I've owned the game.
