How to upload existing (played) household to gallery?

I don't play TS4 too often, so apologies if this is in the wrong place. I know you can upload any household you create in CAS. But if you merge or add to your family, there is no option I can see t...

In the upper right corner, you click the file folder icon, then on the family screen, you click the upload to gallery.

I just tested. I uploaded this family to the gallery, uploaded fine, and then I added a person from my gallery, and uploaded them again.
