How we actually record 'footage' cooking?

That’s just how you do it, the video should be labeled “Cooking Video”.
You can upgrade your drone to improve the quality, or edit them afterwards on the video station.

Videos usually start out Poor or Fair quality. (Usually Poor, especially without the upgrade for the Drone)

You won't get high quality Videos unless you successfully:
1) Edit
2) Add Transitions
3) Add Effects

It's not that you weren't recording a Cooking video successfully, it's just that they don't start out high quality without all the aforementioned work.

Oh I thought I was doing it wrong, it's ridiculous that every video footage you record is poor!.. and after hours of editing it the quality turns to just "fair", I guess the TV show producer never asks in the request for you to edit it, just a video of you "cooking" so I assumed that's just enough, though creating videos using the video maker station like Vblogs, fashion tips..etc produce a min video quality of "fair"
But thank you for the helping me, I just raised my handiness to level 7 in order to improve the drone, let's hope the quality is great now..(even tho I honestly dont think this make sense at all)

I have a question pertaining to this. How do you get just "cooking footage" everything I record is either gourmet or homestyle cooking and it doesn't count.

It isn't possible. It is either homestyle (normal cooking) or gourmet cooking or baking (Cooking from Get to Work expansion pack). I think if you get the sponsorship offer, all of them are ok.

I wish you could record them then put them on the tv, like how you could with the sims 3 generations home movies

I have yet to go through and make videos, but I'm guessing it's like producing the music tracks. Your Sim has to gain skill in doing so for the quality to improve. Don't give up, just have your Sim gain skill.

Wow... drones are so helpful

Does anyone know how to get the video from the drone to the video station? I've opened the drones inventory and clicked transfer, I've also just selected the transfer option. It pops up in my queue but never completes. It just disappears. It says upload to the More Views Video Station but no matter what I do, the station I buy always reverts to The More Choices Video Station. Am I doing something wrong?

Nevermind. You have to put the drone next to the video station and then "go here" with your sim since they won't walk there on their own accord. Works fine now.
