[HSY] Has anyone gotten valedictorian?

My sim is acing tests and is a top student, but she still hasn't earned valedictorian. Any tips?

Valedictorian can be a bit tricky to achieve and requires your Sim to do a lot of extra work.

You'll need to have your Sim do the following on a daily basis to get valedictorian:

    Be a straight-A student
    Study for exams
    Complete all homework
    Do homework for extra credit
    Attend all classes

Completing all of these activities each day should earn you that valedictorian spot! If you're having troubles getting those grades up, make sure your Sim goes to school with a focused moodlet every day. Make sure you also review your class schedule so you can check which skills your Sim needs to improve on.

  • My sims have gotten valedictorian many times without any help from me. I do not follow them to school. I just have them do their homework and any extra credit assignments and have them work hard each day they are at school and keep their performance meter filled.

I don't know about Valedictorian but Lately, I haven't been following my teens to school but just haveing them do their homework and extra credit everyday eventually gives them the option to graduate early! I always accept the early graduation so I can get them started in college right away. Now I'm wondering if they might make valedictorian if they stayed in high school! ?

If you follow them every day, their grades will actually stall. They need to go by themselves once or twice a week.

  • I’ve had a couple but have never played the graduation with them because they have been the non-heir and get kicked out of the house ?. I’m yet to have an heir who is valedictorian, even though they do exactly the same thing as the one who achieved it. Once, I had the oldest child in the family get valedictorian and I kept him in the house. However, when the next sibling graduated, it cancelled the eldest child’s graduation, so he never got to give the speech or or have the ceremony.

I've gotten it several times without trying. My teens go to school every day and always do their homework. They occasionally do extra credit homework, but not every day.
