I usually do my rotations around 5 am. I always leave my households with excellent-quality meals leftover in the fridge, & when I return days/weeks/seasons later at 5 am, I'll find most of the sims stacked on top of each other, grabbing plates of food, while one is out at the grill making hotdogs.
I guess I've grown accustomed to herding them; chasing them out of the kitchen at mealtimes barely registers on my annoyance meter anymore, & I hadn't even realized it. What does tick me off is that they don't actually multi-task, so that their hunger keeps going down while they're eating if they're also in a conversation with someone else, even if they're the ones doing the listening, not the talking. You can eat while you listen, simmie! Except no, apparently they can't. That whole multi-tasking thing is fake. Great idea; didn't work. Pity.
