This is really interesting. I have started a new dumpster dive challenge and I'm determined not to buy any piece of furniture. I have been struggling to get certain items but have an abundance of others. I have yet to find a kitchen counter, which is driving me insane. I did find one Island, but need to keep it clear or I cannot cook. the amount of dining tables I have found is unbelievable and its so frustrating cause I think irl I could prepare food on a table... 😩 I'm trying to make it kinda realistic and only use the random furniture she finds, so nothing matches (which isn't hard in the Sims 4 anyway) so I don't want to buy a counter with the money raised from selling other items, but its driving me crazy.
I have also found 3 high end computers, but only one desk (which is technically the crafting desk) and one of those massive TVs from Movie Night lol
Dumpster diving has really opened up new ways of playing the game and I honestly think without it I wouldn't play Sims at all these days.
That sounds like a fun challenge!
