Why wouldn't a mer be a conservationalist? How does that even make sense? Who has a better reason than a mer to wait the ocean and beaches to be pollutant free?
Also I wrote the mer/child of the sea thing bad. I meant mer with child of the sea, as I thought it was only a mer with the trait that would have the issue as explained. But why wouldn't you want child of the sea on mer? Mostly you want to make it easier to befriend a dolphin, but getting sad over eat fish is a bit much. I foresee it getting modded out really quick. Even the dolphin friend you make you feed fish.
