I dislike that the game uses my played sims as working NPCs at community lots

It did not happen long ago. I guess it started with ECO Lifestyle, or the pack/patch before. I have played my little community of 70+ households since TS4 release. That is 6 years, and I know these...

I hate this too, it's very backwards. My Sims get selected for random bartending and yoga positions but when I want to hire them in retail or restaurants I'm not allowed.

Makes zero sense.
