I feel guilty

My household consists of my sim Ricky, his new girlfriend Kira, Ricky's kids from previous relationships Brandon and Christine, and Ricky's sister Holly. I was going to move in Holly's boyfriend into the fold and Ricky and Kira would probably have another kid...eventually. However Ricky and Kira woohoo ONCE and she became pregnant with triplets. I use MCCC mod have have the setting of getting pregnant on regular woohoo at 5%. Well it took. (Just turned that back to 1%). I was curious why Kira was throwing up so much....I'm like, she can't be pregnant! I was wrong. Saw the stats (thanks to the "show info" mod) and lo and behold...she is pregnant with triplets...2 girls and 1 boy. I'm usually a player that takes things as they come with death and pregnancies because that's how life is. Christine was an "accident" but still played along. But these triplets would max out my house and I didn't want to deal with that many kids. So thanks to MCCC mod, I canceled her pregnancy.

Why do I feel guilty? lol

I had a Sim get pregnant with a single baby, then twins,THEN triplets. That household was chaos. If you really feel guilty you can always make her pregnant again through MCCC :)

I also had risky woohoo set to 1% and my Sim got pregnant after one woohoo session. I was shocked!

Um....I thought pregnancies only happened with the “try for baby option. Oops. I guess I’ve been lucky so far because I like this young, millionaire, childless couple thing I’ve got going on!

If you have MCCC and their add-on mod that is not allowed to be mentioned here, you can set a "risky" pregnancy. Mine is set to 1% so there is a 1% chance she can get pregnant on the regular woohoo option.
  • I’m feeling guilty too, but I’m glad to have a choice. My sim got pregnant yesterday ( risky whoohoo) with her third child but I ended it. Then they’ve tried for a baby while I was playing their teen son and a toddler. I kept that baby, but dad is going to die soon.

Ugh two of my couples just had triplets. I have never had triplets in game and I wind up with two couples having triplets. The baby stage is annoying and I cannot imagine what the toddlers are going to be like. I personally prefer single births. These worlds are too small for my rotations to have multiple births.

I can't say I have ever done this ending a pregancy ... but if you feel guilty or are upset over it, the next time it happens let the babies be born, age them to toddlers and then use the manage worlds to move them in with an uncle/aunt/family friend.

Not sure if this is new since you posted this comment or not, but you can move babies in manage households, they don't have to be aged up to toddler first.

I have never checked on a pregnancy with the MCCC mod before today. In fact I normally have that info disabled. But I just happened to check my legacy sim who is pregnant now and she is pregnant with triplet girls!! UGH!!! This will be my first set of triplets ever! Not only are multiples overwhelming to me (she was a twin herself) but for this generation I was hoping to have the heir be a male (have had only females born in this save).

So either she has to try again or I will have the fourth generation be a female heir again. I am tempted to change the outcome, but I think I will just roll with it.

Edited to add: So I quit the save and reloaded (not because of the pregnancy but because of something else) and now the MCCC pregnancy gave me a different info? Now it says 1 male instead of 3 females. I thought the pregnancy number and gender was determined at conception?

    I use MCCC too.
My teen heir messed around with Eliza & Bob's teen son once and the 5% risk chance got her. I had to get rid of that pregnancy because I didn't want a child that wasn't genetically similar to the parents (that's still a thing with the teen pregnancy mod if I'm not mistaken). Got them two married in the end, moved them into a new house and let them woohoo once. 5% risk chance got her again like in a second and resulted in triplets.
I guess the game either ships those two sims a little too much. Or it just hates me :# (I think it's the latter)
