Love projects like this!!! I've done similar stuff myself, the investigation is often very much fun. I use a year count that started on 0 as TS1 merged to TS2 and time was no longer frozen, and I keep dated timelines for each sim. Only a few families were traced for more than 3 or 4 generations back, though, but currently I'm working on a project following nobility from year 0 and onwards to see how many might connect with my current families.
Well, regarding the Altos, sorry to say but this family is not in my current game, so although I did get plenty info from Sunset Valley my research never included the Altos.
