Wonderful investigation, but I think that Griffin isn't the brother of Nick and Bert. Sunlit Tides is set after sims 1, Mary-Sue and Daniel Pleasant are on a honeymoon there as young adults. Rough calculation set Sunlit Tides roughly between 25 to 35 years after Sunset Valley and Hidden Springs. That means Griffin Alto is most likely the son of Holly Alto from Sunset Valley
