That's just crazy-insane. I'm so sorry to read this. Is that mod for Sims2, or is it just based on the Sims2 mod? Has it been updated?
This is an actual mod for The Sims 2. It allows college final exams to be rescheduled; Move Out to be rescheduled; Wants can be re-rolled, etc. I use it to avoid middle of the night finals in Sims 2. Apparently it was last updated in 2019 before TwoJeffs stopped making mods or CC.
I believe we have just stumbled upon the source of your woes. Mods that we choose to use must and I mean MUST correspond to the iteration we wish to use it in. The game platform engines aren't all the same. Remove the mod from your Sims4 Mods folder. Place it in the Sims2 where it belongs. I suspect your Sims 4 game will no longer be unplayable. However, delete via your documents path, the localthumbcache.package inside your Sims 4 game folder.
