CC is the only think that keeps me vaguely interested in this game and frankly, without numerous mods i'd find the gameplay even more impossible to enjoy.
I know the feeling of disappointment. Over a year has passed and the unhappy portion of the community still haven't gotten anything we want. The closest thing is family trees and even those are useless with bugs and culling. Not all paid content has been bad, some of the stuff has been decent I guess but without the fundamental things, going camping for a few Sim days or going to the spa, content like that just seems like putting a band aid over a gaping hole.
