So I'm going to be playing a legacy, which is different for me. I normally play with all YA sims, but now I'm going to be having households with children. So I'm building Newcrest to create new, fun lots to go to. In the section with the 50x40 lot, I have buildings placed on all but one of the lots. I have a library, a cafe, two restaurants.But I can't decide what to do with the 40x30 lot. I don't want to do a park, and I'm pretty sure I don't want to do a lounge or a club, I want something family friendly but I'm sapped for ideas. Help me. Also, if you have inspiration pics I will forever love you

You can make a museum and have areas for "art classes" or "music classes" for sims. Make clubs gather there.Or instead of museum make it a community center (or Rec center). You can add a pool or if you have city living you can make a basketball court.Put a little Aracade too (if you have get together and with kids room pack you can add voidcritter games)You can make the venue a park without it actually being a park

You can make it an activity skill building area. In one of my builds I made a homework club hoise that had all the kid skill building things. It also had a few games for adults. I did it as a library lot.

Hello Perhaps you could have an outdoors movie and water slides venue? There could be a large tv screen and accompanying chairs, as well as popcorn and ice cream to eat. There could also be slippery slides there, and also a section with bird feeders.

You can make a museum and have areas for "art classes" or "music classes" for sims. Make clubs gather there.
Or instead of museum make it a community center (or Rec center). You can add a pool or if you have city living you can make a basketball court.
Put a little Aracade too (if you have get together and with kids room pack you can add voidcritter games)
You can make the venue a park without it actually being a park

An arts centre/community centre.
Maybe with a couple of private club rooms. Art club? Music club? Chess club? Chin-wag club?

I would certainly recommend a pool with play areas and basketball court etc. I use them alot and they are great teen hangout for when the children age up. A gym is also great for the future. Family restuarant or pub is also a great idea. It can be a bar but with a family feel and equipment. A great way for the kids to be entertained while the adults chat.
If you really arent sure, then place a few houses and families from the gallery with same aged adults and children for your legacy family to be friends with. I love that with my legacy sims.

Newcrest is my community center for restaurants, spas, retail lots etc. I'm a huge foodie though and dine out is my favorite pack so ive got like 10 restaurants there.
