You all know in TS2 you didn't have to get them out of the crib at night. They'd cry for a bit but then sit down and pick their nose or sing. If they were potty trained and knew how to walk they could climb out of their cribs to use the potty- if they had to.
Also, left in the crib, they get tried and hungry... after a little bit the parent could give them a midnight feeding and put them back in the crib. They'll go back to sleep.
IRL... My son didn't sleep the night until he was 6. Your RL isn't everyone's RL. :lol:
