I rebuilt Magnolia Promenade!

I also just rebuilt magnolia Promenade. I really want this to be my young adult Hot Spots world. Can't really get it right yet with the exclusion of age specific doors. (I really hope EA will give us the opportunity for those type of lot traits that would allow specific ages on a lot, or maybe someday a modder will be able to get this exact.) I'm appreciative to what has been done by Littlemisssam, so far, she has gotten closer to making this type of mod, but it is still limited.

I wonder if there would be a way to take the age groups from the club requirements and turn them into a lot trait somehow?

MP in my games is my entertainment sector -- I have a large lounge on the 40x30 lot, a bar and a lounge on the two 20x20s, and the 30x20 lot varies -- I've tried both a spa, a restaurant, and a karaoke bar but nothing really seems to fit.

it looks great! I've bulldozed and am working on a YSoA (Young SIMS of America) teen hangout. Converting the Grungy Warehouse into the build. I'm making the bottom right lot into a park for everyone. Plus, I was thinking of making a vet.

I've put in a bowling alley (as a bar) with an arcade, a cinema (also technically a bar) and am planning to add a restaurant and a shopping mall. An entertainment district, which in my mind is easily reachable from Willow Creek, Newcrest and San Myshuno.

That looks amazing :0 I've been wanting to rebuild Magnolia Promenade too, but I can't decide what kind of stores I want there. I want to to be a shopping district kind of feel, but I keep getting stuck on it.

Looks really good. I already thought about rebuilding a world, but I never dis, because it seems to be so much work. But after looking at these pictures, I think I might git it a try again.

I really like the look of this! It's very now.

And it gives me ideas. I don't really ever use Magnolia Promenade. But I would, if I did a bit of rebuilding.


@Atreya33 I think Magnolia Promenade and Forgotten Hollow are the best two worlds for redevelopment. It's the multiple hoods in the other worlds that make the task of redevelopment seem so daunting. I guess if you took one of the other worlds, one hood at a time, it might be a more manageable task.

@Movotti I agree. I always thought about rebuilding a big worlds until I found this thread

I know! I really find it hard to use Oasis springs, I just can't place Oasis Springs in relation to the other worlds very well. I try to have at least one of each necessary community lot (library, museum, gym, etc.) in each group of worlds that are nearby/close enough to travel for those things. Newcrest and Willow Creek are easily suburbs of San Myshuno (with Magnolia Promenade as a nearby retail park), Windenburg is big enough for a small city by itself (enough lots for everything), Brindleton Bay is supposed to be rural so it's ok if it doesn't quite have everything (makes sense to have to travel to a city for a museum, etc.). But Oasis Springs is a problem for me - it just doesn't fit in so well with the other worlds, it seems like it would be located so far away. I know sims can move around wherever, but I like to make it somewhat location-based. An Oasis Springs style Newcrest would even help, just for more lots in the spread out desert. I do struggle with how to use Oasis Springs a lot.
