Unless I'm playing a challenge where you have to randomize traits, I always give my toddlers the Clingy or Independent traits, because those two achieve toddler reward traits the fastest. If I want them to build Thinking skills by playing in the cabinets or dressers, I have to tell them. I hardly ever see them doing that on their own.
