Like on the dinner table, I want my sims to sit on a specific seat. Or in the upcoming high school pack, I want my sims to always sit with their friends during lunch or something. Just like how you could assign beds. If I will create my mean girls sims in the high school pack, I don't want anyone not in their group to be sitting with them at lunch lol "You can't sit with us".

I would love assigned seats at home in particular, both in the kitchen and living room.

What a great idea. They already have in game a way to assign beds to everyone, except the Toddler (which only makes it slightly difficult if you have more than one Toddler at a time). I would settle, however, just to be able to ask my Sims like they do in MWS, everyone please take a seat.

What a good idea! Would be great for the table. And I do want my friends/family together in class.

Yes, sitting at the "head" of the table and such. I can understand that point. It makes sense. And at weddings, bride's family on one side, groom's on the other. That sort of thing would be extremely awesome!!!

I'd be satisfied if I ask them to sit together and they all stayed put for longer than 0.001 seconds. Everytime I try to have 3 or more sims sit together and have a conversation as soon as the last sim's butt hits their chair the first sim that sat down gets up and wanders off.?

This is definitely a problem even with autonomy turned off, they still get up.

Oh don't I know it. There have been the odd moments where I've wanted the option to glue butts to chairs. But they'd probably waddle off with chair the stuck to their backside.
