I do remember a mention of several ways but it beats me what they are and if we were even told anything other than the stone. - Just a quick PSA in case those who aren't aware.
If the hidden objects cheat allows us to put a Portal on any lot, in any world. The portal you go through may not be the portal you return though.
If you go through the portal in any world, while you're in the Realm, you may/will always return through Glimmerbrook's Portal.
This is Just how The Mysterious Tree, and Forgotten Grotto Cave entrance works you always return back to willow creek and oasis springs respectively. I only imagine the same for this portal. "WolfNate;c-17219475" wrote:

Yes, It has been confirmed that the following three ways will get you to the Realm of Magic, The portal, A spell and the Glimmerstone each spell caster will get. I have seen zero details on how each work and if you can take others with you as you travel. But there is at least three ways to get to the Realm of Magic.- AquaGamer1212New Spectator

I would have preferred if it was like Get to Work, the Alien Portal, where you have to build/restore the portal. Like you stumble across an ancient archway, "who built it? why is it here? what are these markings on the ground?" and decipher the runes on the ground, gather what those symbols mean, and use your magic to open the portal. I would be more interested about the portal and the Realm of Magic if that was the approach.
But to answer the question, It would be a hidden object.

That's a Great idea... I built a Cathedral in my Game in Windenburg, with a Crypt beneath it... Now there's a dungeon/Indiana Jones/National Treasure idea. the Cathedral could be like a Coverup to hide all of the Magical artifacts.
The Ruins and the Bluffs... could Be a Great place too for it.
The portal at the Bluffs at sunset will look amazing!- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerI'm planning to use Glimmerbrook as a relatively normal forest world for sims who live secluded and/or off the grid, and make Forgotten Hollow the "capital" for both vampires and witches instead. If the portal is available in debug mode, I will use the T.O.O.L. mod to place it on the hill in Forgotten Hollow, so there's at least a reason to go up there every once in a while.

But even if it's not possible, that's okay because in my imagination, Glimmerbrook and Forgotten Hollow are neighbouring towns anyway. - I don't see why not
