Idea to fix weird looking random sims generations

I was thinking while it seem slightly less bad now than it used to, why not make it even less by making random generated sim only use cloth for from pack and base game. It would probably reduce the problems with really bizarre cloth combination. Then maybe add some normalized palette of skin colors so they generate with more normalized skin tones, for instance looks really weird for non occult sim to generate with extremely ghoulish grey or overly non human pale skin for instance. Ever since we got new skin tone palette feels like many sims look really unnatural with skin tones, before anyone start calling me things?

I agree. I pick out a lot of cc to create a certain look for a specific sim, and any random that shows up in that automatically gets edited. The game shouldn’t pull cc for randoms, anyway. If you delete the cc, you wind up with randoms showing up bald or without their pants or shirts. I would also like to be able to specify packs that can be used to generate random sims.I really don’t want them showing up in the highly specialized outfits like those in Island Living, Vampires and RoM. And, I would like to be able to disallow certain accessories. That’s where some of the real weirdness comes in. I like some of the random accessory weirdness, but the hijab/swim fins combo is a bit too much, even for me.

The only skin tone issues I’ve had in my game are that a lot of sims generate with that really pale, cool tone that looks horrible on my monitor.
  • Could that sims creator thing, whatever it's called, help with that? Lately have been seeing random sims in highly specialized clothing/accessories, and not just the infamous situational settings, either.

Improving how townies are generated are probably one of my most wanted features. I'm not sure how they would do it, your suggestions would probably help like restricting their everyday outfits to only use a certain pack for that sim.

One thing that I think would improve their looks is to not let them wear accessories and hats, or only allow them to wear one accessory. The game always seems to randomize the most absurd combinations with accessories. I have created CAS overrides that have a "not allowed for random" tag in sims4studio for some accessories like the eyball ring.

I don't think they need to wear socks either, no premade sims are wearing socks.
  • Why not make it even less bad and give me toggle to turn off randomized townies all together *wink wink*

and yes i also want to assign npc so they stop hogging my npc positions

I don't care what they wear i simply do not want them in my game in any shape or form

at least not now maybe in like million years when ive finally played all my premades through but even then i have their kids to play with who needs random townies really

That's the one I was trying to remember, thank you. So it might at least help the situation?

It helps but the problem is that you have to do it for each item. So doing it for all the accessories or clothing that you would like to not be randomized would take quite a while.
