Ideas for Retail Business / Shops

In Sims 2 I played a lot of impoverished students. One of them who had a few extra simoleons opened a budget furniture store. That way others could buy good quality furniture at ridiculous prices. He never made a profit, but he didn't need to. I guess depending on what the game gives us we could start:

produce stand
fish market
nursery/garden center
music store (instruments)
gemology store
Rocket store
toy store

I've already made a self-serve tea shop out of a library. It would be nice to offer something besides cupcakes.
