If You Could Only Have One Expansion Pack, What Would It Be?

My "only one" pack would be the Vampires game pack. I feel it adds a bit of darkness and grit to all the happy, sugary sweetness of the game and I like that. Plus, it's the pack that I've always wanted, almost exactly how I wanted it, and I don't think I could live without my Vampires at this point. The game changed so much for me when that pack came out and it remains my all-time favorite. <3

Now, if I had to choose one of each pack type, it would be:

Paranormal Stuff Pack
Vampires Game Pack
Island Living Expansion Pack

As you can probably tell, I have quite a lust for Occult and Fantasy gameplay, so the Haunts from Paranormal and the Mermaids from Island Living really enrich my gameplay. But my top favorites are mostly game packs so Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, Journey to Batuu and Strangerville have all contributed to some of my most fun gameplay sessions as well.

If I could only pick one of each pack. ?

Expansion: Cats and Dogs.
Game: Vampires.
Stuff: Tiny Living.
Kit: Country Kitchen.

Nope I won't narrow it down to one, however I will narrow it down to five.
Here's my fave:
1. "There's a Season, turn, turn, turn, turn"
2. "Let's Get Together, yeah, yeah"
3. "In the Cottage of the seven dwarves, Snow White's still the fairest in the land"
4. "Vampira, ooo, Vampira"
5. "It's Magic, gotta believe it right so, it's Magic

Cats & Dogs for me. I can give up anything else, but cats and dogs are everything to me. <3

Have to agree with the many Seasons responses. I have all but one expansion but all of them would feel lacking if I didn't have seasons.

I forgot about Kits so I'd say I think my favorite is the Courtyard Oasis because I adore Moroccan styles. (And I think it might go well with the Paranormal stuff pack too!)

Island living. It's not the pack with the most to do but it's still one of my top packs. If you like mermaids, beaches, islands or water go for it. I always dreamed of a beautiful beach for one of my dream packs and this one over delivered!!
But like I said there are packs that off more to do so it depends on your style and wants

SEASONS! (like a lot of other people said)

Seasons would be my LAST choice. It's the only expansion pack that I feel was a near waste of money for me. No new world.

My game seems to have gained the most use out of Island Living - but it was also one of the last ones I bought because I thought I would get very little from it as reviews had been unkind to it for 'lacking gameplay and just being locations and stuff'. Locations and stuff happens to be what sells most to me... which I figured out over time.

You kinda need to know what kind of player of Sims 4 you are before you can answer this one.

Do you want a sandbox?
Do want to tell stories?
Do you want to be challenged?
Do you want to create family lineages?

Seasons is going to be valuable to people who want to grow families and stories over time - it's giving them holidays and events and such.

I think 'challenge me' players will like University, because that thing is a hassle of a task and requires intense micro-management of a single sim over a period of time. This is the EP you can easily "fail" at so you have to 'play well' to 'do well'.

Sandbox players are just going to look at each world and count the number of plots they can build in, and how many CAS and Build Mode items it has, and if the style is neat to them - that's the EP they want.
