I assumed they were permanent, but as of today one of the two I made is no longer in effect.
The policy in question is the Organic Food one, that increases cooking prices. I noticed that the prices had reverted to the original ones and when I switched to my conservationist, he had the option to work on that policy as if he had never done so in the first place.
The second policy, Coconut rebate, is still in effect.
Question: Is this supposed to happen? Do policies time out after a while?
I had a food override in my game during Halloween (it changes the basic cakes to Halloween themed ones), that I removed. I suspect that mod to have messed up my policy, but I'm not 100% sure.
Ohh... I got the impression that it would be permanent, remember reading about another simmer who had to get a new sim into the career to change a earlier policy but I cannot swear on it. Currently lvl:ing a sim in that profession myself so I am curious to know the answer.
