I can't say that I blame Amalia at all for acting out (if that's what she's done). It's unfair to be treated so differently just because of who gave birth to you, especially when your siblings are princes.
To Amalia's defence, she was only 8 when her mother died, and 15 when her father died, so life surely became a tad different for her. Her parents were rather old when having her, it's their fault, not hers.
