I’m here to commiserate a bit. Of course it’s nice to be able to revert back to an earlier save, but when you have to do it repeatedly in the same part, everything mushes together in my memory and it drives me crazy when I can’t remember which version happened! The last time I had to do this, I had adopted the CUTEST, friendliest, most low-maintenance kitten EVER. And he’s gone into the abyss now because I had to redo that save. I was heartbroken when I realized this. In the newest save, I got what grew up to be a hairless cat. But worse, the cat’s personality just isn’t as great.
I’m glad you are back on track and have the hysteria in check. May we continue making the best of Island Living.
I'm sitting here wondering why I traded out one copy of my Grayson Castle for another. The very latest one had a green house I built very recently. Guess I shall just have to break out my hammer, nails and wall board and do it again! Yikes. Sorry about the loss of a good cat. I created another Sim for Erik, and now I'm wondering if she's gone, too. Happily, I didn't consign the other saves folder to oblivion — At least I don't think so … It just takes a series of days, each complete with their own mishaps to make a person start to doubt what they did, when. LOL I think I'm there. Of course, where my game picked up, he's still going with his high school sweetheart, so we'll see if that lasts. Prior to the patch, he finally asked her to 'just be friends'. The adoration of his fans was getting to her too much. I think he felt bad for her.
