I am curious as to how you have created a priest in the game. What traits have you used? Do you have a church and club members for the congregation? Wouldn't mind doing something like that myself.
As for your scandal, well, we are all human..well, sims aren't actually human, but you know what I mean
I just created a Sim, gave him the name Father James Tomson, gave him a wife and three children. I have often referred to this non-entity in the past iterations of my Erik Cantrell stories. Once I learned we could have an Officiant on MWS, I decided he needed to become 'real'. My Sims go to services, via a rabbit hole, thanks to another player who suggested we could create a holiday. My holiday is simply called Church. The only goal is attend holiday service. I set it up for each Sunday. I created Christmas Eve with decorating and attending holiday services for Christmas. We have a midnight service in RL, I do the same for Pascha (Easter). Midnight services on Saturday with Agape (which means love) where the Grand Meal, the egg hunt, etc. takes place. So, yes, my Sims are of a specific religious persuasion and I make no bones about it. I'm certain I gave Father James the Good Trait. He's also Outgoing, and Family-Oriented.
Yes, and even priests can stumble, but he would be defrocked in my faith. The parish I'm in now suffered something similar. Some never got over it, as the priest had to leave. Others were in shock, never seeing such behavior coming from him. He was a beloved man by his parish, overall. Most of us see the good in others, don't we? The parish was still in the process of healing when we arrived.
