While this is not specifically a trait mod, I find that Have Some Personality Please from Polarbearsims is a great mod to increase the personality of the Sims. It forces them to choose actual interactions instead of generic "chatting," and the options they choose do seem to be influenced by their traits. For example, mean Sims get a lot meaner with this mod.
