So, my current save is a colonial empire, and I need to conquer, exploit, and oppress a territory. I'm thinking either Selvadora or Sulani. I'll probably end up getting them both eventually, but I need advice on which would work best so I can get that one first. Here's what I'm looking to do... During peacetime, I'll have my sims go there to vacation. I don't mind temporarily moving them into other housing to accomplish that and then moving them back, so it's okay with me that Sulani is not a vacation destination. I need it to be something different from my current world, which is mainly based in Willow Creek, Brindleton Bay, and Windenburg, and is set up similar to 1800s England. So, I think both Selvadora and Sulani will fit the bill there. During "wartime," I'm going to send "platoons" of soldiers there and have them pick fights with the locals (because I'm a jerk, haha). Lastly, I don't want too many Selvadorians or Sulanians (is that what you call them?) running around my regular save in jungle- or island-type clothing since my sims are dressed like the 1800s, although a few sims like that would okay as there would naturally be some immigration and maybe they didn't pack appropriate clothes, or something. If it gets to be too many sims walking around in inappropriate clothes, I can always disable the pack when I'm not actively using that world.So now that you know what my needs are, which one would you recommend I start with? You could always impose makeovers as part of your regime, too.

How is it possible to do that in Sims 4. I thought you can only conquer other countries in the Age of Empires & the Civilization games.

I'd say Selvadorada. For the following reasons: Treasures! Golden plates and Idols and whatnot... A good reason for conquest. I do not see too many Selvadorada natives in other worlds, but Sulani natives are always everywhere. And for me personally it's very annoying. Also you'll have to deal with pro/anti-eco activists. For Sulani you need to actually moving houses which could be bothersome and leading to some minor bugs. For Selvadorada you'll need to pay but that's probably more realistic since expeditions/warfare would demand tones of money Unfortunately later expansions are way much more buggy. So for me Sulani = more bugs/annoying behavior (constant shells digging, plants observing, stealing canoes from nowhere, unwanted visitors, ridiculous festival clothing to name a few) than Selvadorada.

I'm looking for Sims to oppress. Suggestions?

I'd say Selvadorada. For the following reasons:

Treasures! Golden plates and Idols and whatnot... A good reason for conquest.
I do not see too many Selvadorada natives in other worlds, but Sulani natives are always everywhere. And for me personally it's very annoying. Also you'll have to deal with pro/anti-eco activists.

well since we are ruining sim lives id go for sulani because then u could go kidnapping some mermaids >:)

perhaps they were sailing and found sulani so they ruined sulani lives first and then went further into the land and discovered selvadorada and ruined it too

You know... I can't say specifically (due to forum rules) but there are plenty of mods that can change the game from nickelodeon to cinemax that may help you accomplish your goals lol

Mostly I just want to say I like the idea very much for a story line and I might have to steal it. This is what I do with my alien stories kind of.. puny humans! Either of places you picked sounds good to me. Personally, I'd lean toward Sulani because I could truly "invade" it as in live there, build there, and really take it over ... and they are such a sweet people with their customs that it would make it even more dastardly to play it out. I'm kind of surprised no one has come down on you for playing around with these ideas for a fictional story in your devious mind. Huzzah!
