I'm on vacation in South America, stop asking me to meet you at the club back home

I think there should be an update to stop all the sims sending you requests to go out on a date back home with your friends when your sim is away on vacation. I'm not sure if accepting one of the invites would end your vacation or you'd just return after you finished your date (I didn't want to risk it either way) but it does kind of take you out of the "reality" if your sims can just jump back and forth like that. Also, my sim is married and doesn't even know the other sim asking them out? That should be addressed too.

I can see how that would be annoying and I hope something is done...but it's also extremely funny.

"Hey Bob, it's Marcus. Wanna hit up the Narwhal?"

"Sorry. Eliza is using me as her shield in some lost temple. Gotta go and get poisoned again. Bye."

I think it's funny, but at the same time I had a sim call two times in a row to go to an underground concert and then to lunch. I mean, back to back calls.

This is the main reason I hate interacting with NPCs. My Sim needed the culture skilled maxed(insane JA locals) and she also would tell the vampires to bugger off (man the random NPC vampires). This made the vampires friends with her? By asking them to leave. So, she is bothered on her vacation by vampires wanting her to go to the bars or festivals or what not while on vacation. And bothered by the local insane JA people when she is at home...Constantly..many many texts a day.

Turn off cell phone option please!!! X.X

I've had a similar thing happening, but in my case it was always Selvadoradian locals calling my sim while she was adventuring, and inviting her on a date in a club in Windenburg. Had they invited her to the local cantina I would have accepted!

They might change it never know but it is sort of funny like sims just pack up and leave they don't bother telling their friends so they think they are right down the street as always ha.

I suppose if they had cell service out there in the jungle it would be possible but wouldn't that be an international call?

It also reminds me of when babies would call your adult sims in Sims 3 and ask them out...WHAT?

I was thinking about this yesterday. My sim kept getting these calls to, Don't they know his on a dangerous holiday. It does get annoying.

I've noticed this too, but it is also similarly annoying that most of my sim's 'whims' while in Selvadorada involve buying pet furniture and starting club gatherings, rather than wishes that could actually be fulfilled while adventuring.
