I'm tired of the "go there, eat this, drink this, explore this" packs (Snowy Escape)
Hey guys,
So I just watched the trailer and honestly I am not very excited. This pack looks like the same-old non-meaningful gameplay we have gotten before. It seems to me that this pack won't allow for much creativity and after reading the description I am almost sure. It feels like a:
-go there, explore this
-eat this food
-learn this skill
-talk to those new sims
And DONE.
Where is the creative gameplay? Where are the tools for us to create things? If they had given us hotels (which I am also pretty sure are not in there) they would work as a tool for us to create stories with this pack but also with the rest of the game. This pack to me feels like it won't have any replayability. I don't want to freaking explore another world or eat another food, drink another drink. I want to CREATE things, give me more tools to do that! Isn't this a Sims game? Where are the times when we could create our own hotels, even our own vacation worlds? Where is the freedom to do stuff instead of just exploring pre-determined stuff?
All I'm getting from the trailer is the same-old exploring and no ways to be creative at all. Even the description of the "main" features cosists of skills, new build and buy objects and the one new venue type. This is what you call main features? Only the fourth one seems kind of interesting.
I wish I could understand what they are thinking, I wish I could, this will be another Island Living...
If you buy EPs for new kitchen counters, worlds made of decor and new skills then more power to you. But this is not what I was even interested in or what made me love the game in the first place.
