Has anyone built a town from scratch? I think newcrest has empty lots. Did you all like place your own hospitals/homes/clubs/bars?

Yes, I have. I made NewCrest the hub for my singer Sims, so it's got venues to play concerts, restaurants —ranging from posh to a pizzeria, a Karaoke bar, nightclubs and a gym and spa. :)
