Immediate Help Required— Please! Resolved.
My less than intelligent Sim parents decided to throw off their heavy winter clothing for their swimsuits. Sitting on the edge of the pool, they are enjoying an adult libation. I leave them alone to check on the current youngest child and only daughter, who is still asleep on their third floor. I get a sudden warning that Louise is freezing to death. I hit PAUSE. Is there a way to save her? Can I have her run inside, for instance, and warm herself in front of the fireplace? Or am I hosed? LOL While I do love the fact that random deaths can and will occur, this dramatically changes out my storyline. She's newly preggars with what will be her fifth and final child. I know I can roll back a save, but I just added a new crucial family to this neighborhood. I'm in a bit of a panic right now. Unfortunately, the parents' relationship wasn't as strong as it used to be. She had the bad woohoo moodlet and is a bit on the angry side. I don't expect he'll be able to successfully plead for her life. Besides all of that, in times' past pleading hasn't truly restored said Sim. They've only been given a few more Sim hours (perhaps a Sim day) and then they collapse in death anyway?

ETA: I decided to have my Sim run inside and warm herself before the fire. She got up right away, donned her heavy winter clothing and went inside. Phew. Moments later, her hubby, still dangling his feet in the pool, is FREEZING to DEATH. I quickly had him get up to warm himself, too. At least this happened on my active lot and not in the town. Phew!
