Need some information on caring for infants when other Sims are not at home.
Specifically, I now have a teenager who is raising her baby brother. I'm wondering when she goes off to school (and I follow her, at least some days) what the best course of action might be.
I'm thinking the options are A ) infant gets sent to automatic "daycare" (which is free and I think potentially unreliable??) or B ) hire a nanny
- which is more realistic in the situation of a 17 year old with a dependent?
- which is the better in game mechanic? (thinking safety of the child not being taken by child services, milestones, ease of care when teen caregiver returns home..)
- is there an option C?
I find Nanny's stress me out. They don't do anything for the baby, they will watch tv, make food etc. while baby is crying. At some point they may help a little. By now I'm screaming at the Nanny and threatening I will find you and I will hurt you.
