Inside Maxis! 04/27 - It could have been a tweet...
Am I the only one that was extremely underwhelmed by that Inside Maxis! livestream? They basically said the patch it out, showed the two hairstyles, one new and one updated, and that was about it.
It's great to hear news on the updated big afro, adding 6 new hair colors (which people already knew about) and it's fantastic they're adding a ton of new preset eyes for Asian representation but those are all coming out whenever they do the new patch. Also, announcing a new Kit and Game Pack is right around the corner isn't really news either. It's The Sims. Of course we'd be getting new packs soon and of course they're going to pump out cash grab Kits.
There was also no new console news which I may have been reading into it too much but why on earth would Xbox comment on The Sims tweet about their livestream if it has nothing to do with them? The packs aren't on sale again on Xbox which would have at least been my most basic guess.
All of this information could have just been tweeted out or posted at the top of the patch notes. Why set up an entire stream for 20min of (in my opinion) nothing?
