So I am busy reading through that little book that came with my sims 4 collectors edition pack and noticed something interesting about the Cowplant.This is the little book I read it in ;)https://i.imgur.com/KcVFv2W.jpgNow the interesting fact is something I have never experienced in my game. I am wondering if any of you have experienced it. It says in the last sentence that if you are feeling good and have a high gardening skill level you can produce a cowplant that may generate more cowplant seeds. I am so gonna explore this now.https://i.imgur.com/GmOfnZ7.jpgLet me know if you have managed this yet. I have grown most of my cowplants from space finds or from fishing, but I think this might be from splicing, so I am off ingame to give this a go ;)

That's interesting.Perhaps it is when you graft snapdragon and dragonfruit you get a plant that grows these (or maybe not)?It kind of reminds me money trees in The Sims 3. It didn't grow fruit that could be replanted, but it did spawn a seed near it from time to time. I didn't find any other info about it while googling. Perhaps a SimGuru could provide us a hint or deny it...There are interactions to pet it and to play with it... It dances when you leave music playing near it...I don't know...

I think all plants produce sees nearby that if left on the ground will germinate into a new plant. The new seeds happen quite often in my game though I haven't seen it yet with cowplants as I don't grow them that often. I think the seeds dropping happens when you don't harvest the plants.

It's level 5 gardening and it's called grafting. I do it all the time. It's not bugged in my game. A player has to graft in order to complete the gardening aspiration. Some plants can only be obtained by grafting, patchy, buying lots of seed packets, the gallery or cheating. I prefer getting the rare plants myself through grafting. so my plants I had that reverted to plant stage is staying like that. No change after 10 sim days. So I placed my spliced one in a room and uploaded it to my library and then placed it into my game and it is still saying cowberry but has only produced snapdragons for the last three days. I harvested it everyday, so I am going to try and not harvest it and see if it will add the dragonfruit and cowberry that way. Will have to wait for either later tonight or tomorrow cause I need to get started on making dinner now ;) Happy simming everyone

Oh no !!! Some major bug causing my Cowplant to revert to planted stage everytime my sim does a harvest :( Ugh I might just get rid of my other plants for now and see what happens. I was hoping to collect more cowberries :(

Ok, I am super frustrated. I am going to head over to the Ea help site and announce this bug there. My cowplant revert back to just planted for absolutely no reason. My sim played with it, fed it and then went for a bath, while in the bath Moozilla was gone again :(

Unfortunately due to this bug, my exciting little project to see if I will get a cowberry is on hold. Sorry simmers :(

It's already a know bug that plants revert. You can go do a "me too". Gardening is buggy right now, however there are some things I have found that work for me. There are many threads about plants reverting.

Note:
I have been playing this game since it came out and my cow plants themselves have never produced calves or berries.
